Springtime for vids! How exciting! Below are my requests, but if you have an idea that speaks to you, feel free to go for it.

The Babadook

My favorite thing about this movie when I first saw it was the color palette. Those washed-out pastels were colors that you don't expect in a horror movie, and create such a stunning contrast to the jaggedy black scribbles of the Babadook himself. If you like to play with recoloring, hyping up the pastel or showcasing the contrast somehow would be awesome.

Teen Wolf

I liked Teen Wolf, but I freakin' LOVED the Nogitsune arc of season 3B. It had so much angst and whump, and really let Dylan O'Brien take off in a whole new direction. Best of all, there was a creepy insane asylum episode. I love that whole gothic-horror aesthetic. A vid about this season would be such a gift.

Song of the Sea

This movie is hauntingly beautiful, and my favorite thing was the sheer joy Saoirse showed when she wore the sealskin and went swimming and leaping about in the sea. I will certainly be glad to see any vid of this movie, but something that focuses on her happiness in being who she is would be especially well received.

Lost Boys

CRYYYYYY LITTLE SISTER

This is one of my ultimate 80s movies. This deserves an MTV/CW-style gritty reboot, and if you have half an hour, I will describe my plans for it to you in great detail. For vid purposes, I just love all the sensuality and eyefucking going on between David and Michael. Give me something that amps up the gay, and that focuses on the older kids/vampires. (I don't care about Sam and the Frog bros.) Their whole luxe trashy style made 90s goth me so happy. I mean look at this.
